Judge Pro Tempore

Rebecca has been a Judge Pro Tempore for over two years.  Rebecca presides over criminal calendars in Bellevue District Court, Redmond District Court, Issaquah District Court, Kirkland Municipal Court, and Issaquah Municipal Court.  As a Judge Pro Tempore, Rebecca handles all types of criminal court calendars, just as an elected or appointed judge would.  Rebecca has handled criminal arraignments, pre-trial, motion, and review calendars.  Rebecca has also presided over several jury trials. 

Her experience as a Judge Pro Tempore makes Rebecca the most qualified candidate for Federal Way Municipal Court, Position One.  Rebecca knows the law, and knows how to run a courtroom efficiently, effectively, and fairly.  As a Judge Pro Tempore, Rebecca has earned the respect of prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges.
